Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Rosie's Recovery Center's Medication Assisted Treatment program combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat opioid and alcohol use disorders. Our MAT program is a proven, evidence-based approach that reduces cravings, prevents relapse, and supports long-term recovery.
What Is MAT?
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of FDA-approved medications — such as buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone (Vivitrol), and methadone — in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders. MAT is recognized by SAMHSA and the medical community as the gold standard for opioid use disorder treatment. It is not 'trading one addiction for another' — it is evidence-based medicine.
